Why would I want to join?
Singing, friendship and sharing good times are the reasons our members join and stay with the Chorus.Sweet Adelines sing a broad variety of upbeat songs and ballads. Joining the chorus will be a lively and energetic experience for you.
It's not essential to have a trained voice or be able to read music. We use practice CDs as well as printed music, and there's plenty of support from the Directors and section leaders. Many members find their self-confidence grows as they learn singing and presentation skills they may never have known before - and have fun in the process!
We welcome new members to our chorus, so if you love to sing and would enjoy being part of a lively and enthusiastic group of like-minded women, please come along to one of our rehearsal evenings and see what we do.
We rehearse each Wednesday evening at a community hall in Mitcham.
