Our Director:
Debbie joined Adelaide Sound Connection in January 2005 as a singer, became a Section Leader and Assistant director a few years later, and subsequently became Director in 2010.
She has extensive musical experience, including the Directors Certification Program (DCP) from Sweet Adelines International, and AMEB Grade 7 in flute and piano, as well as 22 years working with the SA Public Primary Schools Festival of Music, mainly as an accompanist, but occasional as a choir teacher.
She is passionate about helping singers experience joy while achieving success with their singing and performance.
Debbie loves singing barbershop and other A Cappella singing styles, and learning about and educating others in the art form, but above all she loves the warmth and friendship that comes with being a member of the chorus. She also sings in a small mixed ensemble.
