Our Director:
Debbie joined Adelaide Sound Connection in January 2005 as a singer, became a Section Leader and Assistant director a few years later, and subsequently became Director in 2010.
She is passionate about helping singers experience joy while achieving success with their singing and performance.
She has extensive musical experience, including the Directors Certification Program (DCP) from Sweet Adelines International, and AMEB Grade 7 in flute and piano, as well as 22 years working with the SA Public Primary Schools Festival of Music, mainly as an accompanist, but occasionally as a choir teacher.
Debbie loves singing barbershop and other A Cappella singing styles, and learning about and educating others in the art form, but above all she loves the warmth and friendship that comes with being a member of the chorus. She also sings in a small mixed ensemble.
